Firmware Update Adds New Features to EOS C70 4K Digital Cinema Camera
Firmware version 1.0.5.1 for the EOS C70 includes a variety of feature upgrades to enhance performance and support for content creation, live broadcasting and documentary shooting. The main upgraded features are:
- Eye Detection Autofocus Face detection autofocus and an autofocus tracking system Support for both slow motion and fast motion recording (24-120p): Improved autofocus performance for greater accuracy even when recording at high frame rates. Helps you never miss a shot in any situation.
- XF-AVC 4K Intra-frame 60p: Added the ability to record in XF-AVC Intra-Frame 60p at 600Mbps bitrate for small, high-quality codec files. This reduces storage costs and speeds up file transfers. - Enhanced autofocus capabilities: Autofocus is now available at 120p/100p recording, with Face Detection AF during slow and fast shooting modes.
- Audio 4ch display: Displays the audio level of all 4 channels when this mode is selected.
