Cap Roig has already sold 78% of the total capacity two days before the start of the festival

When there are two days left until the music starts playing, the Cap Roig festival already sold 37,952 entries for the different shows that make up the program of the 23rd edition. They are, as reported in a statement, the 78% of the’total capacity. The festival, organized by Grup Clipper’s with the impetus of CaixaBank, has scheduled 23 concerts for this summer in Calella de Palafrugell (Baix Empordà), six of which have already sold out. Cap Roig begins this Friday with the performance of British rock legend Rod Stewart, while the closing will be on August 19 and will be performed by singer David Bisbal, who will celebrate twenty years of career on stage.

Juli Guiu, president of the Clipper’s Group and director of the Cap Roig Festival, has stated that they are “enormously pleased” to be able to start the show with 78% of tickets sold and with “very good prospects” of selling out the majority of seats of the sessions.

“Once again, these figures reflect the confidence and enthusiasm of the public to return to Cap Roig and enjoy some exceptional summer nights. Every year we face the challenge of offering a prestigious, diverse and sustainable festival and we are very proud of the high artistic quality presented by this year’s program, which brings together outstanding stars both internationally and nationally on the stage of Cap Roig”, remarked Guiu. The director also emphasizes that another leg of the program is the shows for the whole family through Cap Roig Mini.

Two days before the opening of the Cap Roig Festival, the public can still purchase the last tickets for the concerts of Ara Malikian (July 15), Els Amics de les Arts (July 22), Damien Rice (July 28) , Pablo López (July 29), Mika (July 30), Pablo Alborán (July 31), Stay Homas (August 1), Simply Red (August 2), Taburete (August 4), Sílvia Pérez Cruz (August 6), Els Catarres (August 9), Dàmaris Gelabert (August 11), Luz Casal (August 12), Manuel Carrasco (August 14), From Simba to Kiara – The tribute to the Lion King (August 15), Vanesa Martín (August 17) and Juan Diego Flórez (August 18).

The concerts that have already sold out their tickets in advance are Rod Stewart (July 14), Sebastian Yatra (July 16), Norah Jones (July 21), Joan Dausà (August 5), Lola Índigo (7 of August) and David Bisbal (August 19).
