Capital Fund Management surfaces a 0.5% short position in Unicaja Banco

The French fund Capital Fund Management (CFM) has a short position of 0.5% in Unicaja Banco, as reflected in the records of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

This is the first significant ‘attack’ by a bassist on Unicaja Bank, and has a value of 11.9 million euros. Although it was notified yesterday, the taking of this position was taken last Wednesday, December 20.

The French background CFM was founded in 1991 by French businessman Jean-Pierre Aguilar, and focuses on a quantitative and systematic investment strategy. As of July 2022, it managed assets worth a total of $10 billion.
