The Board of Directors of the Capital Market Commission, during today’s meeting, decided to revoke the operating license of the company “Capital Investments”.
At the same time, it was decided to impose a fine of a total of 148,000 euros on the same company for violations of the provisions of Law 4514/2018 and EU Regulation 565/2017, mainly regarding major organizational issues of the company’s operation, and a fine of 34,000 euros for violations of the provisions of Law 4557/2018 and Decision 1/506/2009 of the Board of Directors. of E.K. in matters relating to legislation for the prevention and suppression of money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
Also, a fine of a total of 70,000 euros was imposed on Georgios Politis in his capacity as the managing director and chairman of the board of directors of the company “Capital Chrimatistiraki AEPEY” in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 1 and 3 of article 69 of Law 4514/2018, for the violations committed by the latter.
