All educational institutions including government, semi-government, autonomous, semi-autonomous and private institutions, factories, schools-colleges-madrasas-universities will be open from Tuesday (August 6) under the direction of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). In continuation of this, both the country’s capital markets have opened today.

Trading started in Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) from 10 am on Tuesday. This information is known from the website sources of both stock exchanges.

Generally, except Friday and Monday, the two stock exchanges of the country are traded every 4 and a half hours. Trading in the capital market will start at 10 am today and will continue till 2:30 pm. During this period post closing is from 2:20 PM to 2:30 PM.

When asked about this, Tanya Begum, Public Relations Officer of Chittagong Stock Exchange, told RisingBD that transactions have been started from Tuesday in light of ISPR guidelines. The transaction started from 10 am and will continue till 2.30 pm.

Meanwhile, Deputy General Manager of the Public Relations and Publication Department of Dhaka Stock Exchange. Shafiqur Rahman told RisingBD that trading has started on DSE since Tuesday morning. Transactions will continue on this day like any other normal day.
