Car CRASHES in race in Sri Lanka against public; several dead

This Sunday, April 21, 2024, a spectacular accident during a race that took place in Sri Lanka.

Unfortunately, the accident took the lives of at least seven peopleincluding an eight-year-old girl.

According to local media that have cited the authorities at the scene, the “rally” car crashed into the audience during the race, where in addition to the deceased, a total of 21 spectators were hospitalizedfour of them in critical condition.

The tragic event took place at the event Fox Hill Super Cross 2024in a southern town, Diya Talawawhich was attended by more than 100 thousand people.

After the accident, the race and subsequent competitions were cancelled.

For his part, police spokesperson, Nihal Thalduwa, announced that the accident occurred when the car lost control and crashed into a group of spectators.
