In an incident that occurred on Carlos III Avenue in Cuba“>Havana, a classic car, popularly known as an almendrón, collided with a public lighting pole.
Fortunately, the driver was unharmed in the accident, according to information published on social media.
The information about this event was shared by user Iván Gandoy in the Facebook group “BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!” According to the story, the incident took place at the intersection of Carlos III Avenue and Arbol Seco Street, located in the municipality of Centro Habana.
Witnesses who were near the scene of the accident reported what happened. One of them mentioned having seen the driver of the car talking to the driver of a motorbike after the crash. However, it was not confirmed whether these individuals were directly involved in the incident.
Another witness commented that he only heard the roar of the impact and, when he turned around, the car had already collided with the pole.
This incident joins others that occurred recently in different parts of Cuba.
In Santiago de Cuba, two people were injured after a school bus collided with a car in the Chivirico town, Guamá municipality.
On the other hand, in the province of Holguín, the occupants of a Volkswagen brand car emerged unharmed from an accident in which the vehicle was left hanging from a bridge.
Despite the magnitude of these events, it is reported that all people involved survived the accidents.
Despite complaints about the terrible state of the carts in Havana and throughout the country, the communist regime does not maintain them to avoid accidents that occur very frequently.
