The toll booth employee was attacked by passengers in a car traveling from Karunagappally to Attingal. They tried to pass through the emergency gate of the tollbooth without paying. After questioning this, Arun was stabbed in the neck and then dragged by the car door for a short distance. After passing a few meters, the car driver pushed the young man on the road and passed him. Arun’s legs were also injured in the incident. He was later admitted to the hospital.

Arun also responded that there were two people in the car. He stopped after seeing the car coming through the emergency line. They were then asked if they had a pass issued to local residents. When he replied that he did not pass, he asked the vehicle to pass through the other lane. With this, the driver of the car said that it was not convenient for him to go like that and attacked him by holding his shirt collar. At this time, the second person in the car said that we can take him. Arun said that he was then dragged in the car.

The footage of the attack was obtained from the CCTV cameras of the tollbooth. This includes the car number. The Anchalmood police have started an investigation into the incident.
