As part of the plan to reduce the cost of living, Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman today (Wednesday) issued another order to abolish tariffs on spare parts for cars, bicycles and electric scooters, textiles, kitchen utensils and products for industry and the construction industry. As part of the economic plan, the order released today includes a 12% customs cancellation on auto parts. This is a very significant industry with a market size of over NIS 2 billion per year and price differences of 60% compared to OECD countries.

In addition, the order includes products for use in industry and the construction industry, such as concrete products, ceramics, cement, tiles, sinks, bathtubs and more, as well as a variety of consumer products such as kitchen utensils, textiles including rugs, bedding and tablecloths, bicycles and electric scooters.
