The woman who reported to YouTuber Karakula about basketball player Heo Woong’s ex-girlfriend claimed that “Karakula fabricated and manipulated the phone call.”
On the 22nd, YouTuber and former entertainment reporter Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video titled ‘The Truth Hidden by Lee Se-wook (Karacula)’s Retirement Declaration’ on his channel, revealing an interview with woman A, who had reported to Karacula about Heo Woong’s ex-girlfriend.
Earlier, Ms. A said to Caracula in a video where she claimed that “Heo Woong’s ex-girlfriend B was a bar girl,” “Ms. B asked me late at night, ‘A customer has been wanting to see you for a long time, can you stop by and dance?'” Ms. A, a dancer, added, “She said that it wasn’t a weird place and that I just had to dance, and since I was in a hurry for money, I went with the thought of ‘let’s dance and earn a little bit,’ so I just danced and left.”
Regarding the content of the conversation with Karakula, Mr. A told Lee Jin-ho, “I told him exactly what I knew, but Karakula distorted the content of the recording and uploaded it without my consent.”
Person A said about Heo Woong’s ex-girlfriend, Person B, “(Person B) invited me to that place, but I know that the person who hosted the meeting was someone else. Person B left shortly after being there. I’ve never seen Person B working at a restaurant. I saw her in her early 20s before we lost contact. She was an innocent friend who did art. Karakula uploaded his video after removing all the non-problematic parts about Person B.”
A also said that when Karakula did not give her the answer she wanted, he threatened to reveal her personal weaknesses on air, and that it felt like he wanted her to say that “Ms. B is a prostitute.”
Meanwhile, on the 23rd, the Seocho Police Department in Seoul announced that it had received a complaint from Mr. B, who sued Karakula for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act.
