If meat and sausage products are baked for a long time at very high heat, questionable substances such as heterocyclic aromatic amines (HAA) are formed. Their products in the body can have genetic damage and carcinogenic effect.

Important: If, despite all precautions, there are meat or vegetables in the burning places, these should be removed extensively. Baked potatoes and bread should not be too browned either. If the heat is too high, the harmful substance acrylamide can grow from the starch they contain.

No Vienna sausages or meatloaf on the grill
