by time news

Cardi B will not be facing any charges for throwing her microphone into the crowd during a concert in Las Vegas last weekend, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. The police department stated that after a thorough review of the case and consultation with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, there was insufficient evidence to file charges.

The incident occurred when a concertgoer reported being struck by an item thrown from the stage. Although the police did not name Cardi B in their statement, the incident report matched the location where she was performing at the time. Video footage posted to social media showed the rapper being splashed with liquid from a cup during her performance of “Bodak Yellow.” In response, Cardi B threw her microphone into the audience, leading security guards to intervene.

Cardi B’s attorneys, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld, expressed their appreciation for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police’s prompt resolution of the matter. The case has now been closed, and no charges will be filed.

It remains unclear if the incident with the microphone occurred before or after Cardi B and her DJ asked the crowd to splash her with water due to the heat. However, this request was recorded in another video shared on social media from the concert.

Cardi B, a popular rapper and singer, had been performing at Drai’s Beach Club in Las Vegas when the incident took place. Despite the incident, she will not be facing any legal repercussions for her actions.
