In addition, Chicago beat Charlotte, Philadelphia beat Toronto, Indiana beat Oklahoma, Atlanta lost to Brooklyn, New York celebrated against Cleveland and Houston beat Detroit.

The Knicks gave gas in the last quarter and secured a third victory in a row just before the meeting against Washington. Jalen Brunson exploded with a career-high 48 points and added nine assists, Donovan Mitchell’s 42 points weren’t enough on the other side.

The Lakers won their second straight, with Anthony Davis scoring 38 points and adding 17 rebounds and LeBron James scoring 18 points and adding 10 rebounds. On the other side, Mike Connelly finished with 25 points and Karl-Anthony Towns scored 23 points. Anthony Edwards finished with just 11 points.

The Sixers scored a second win in a row after another solid game from Joel Embiid who scored 25 points and added 12 rebounds. James Harden assisted with 23 points and 11 assists. On the other side, Scotty Barnes scored 29 points and added eight assists and nine rebounds. Pascal Siakam finished with 14 points.

Boston (24:54) – Utah (41:36) 114:122

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics to their second straight victory thanks to 39 points and 11 rebounds, Malcolm Brogdon added 19 points in the winner and Derrick White finished with 17 points. Tylen Horton-Tucker’s 28 points were not enough for the Jazz.

Memphis (28:49) – Los Angeles Clippers (37:41) 94:108

The Grizzlies took revenge on the Clippers for the last loss. Desmond Bain scored 22 points and added nine assists, on the other side Norman Powell finished with 16 points and Russell Westbrook scored only four points along with 11 assists.
