Caritas collects tons of donations for Salzburg residents in need

Before Christmas, 1.7 tons of food and hygiene items will be distributed to people in need in Salzburg. The Caritas collection campaign in the Europark also brought in vouchers and cash worth more than 1,000 euros, the aid organization reported in a broadcast on Wednesday.

20 volunteers got involved, distributed lists of needs and organized the logistics. The helpfulness and generosity of the customers was great: A total of 810 people donated the large amount of items in just three days at the Europark.
