The Zaragoza bullring already has a new businessman: Carlos Zuniga father. This has been announced by the Zaragoza Provincial Council in a statement: «The Contracting Committee has agreed to accept as valid the documentation presented by Zúñiga y Toros SL and propose to the contracting authority that it award the aforementioned company, represented by Carlos Zúñiga Manso, the lease of the bullring during the 2022 to 2025 seasons.

Zúñiga Sr.’s company -satisfied and happy as the winner-, with an offer of 502,000 euros per year, VAT included, was the highest bid among the bidders for the management of the Misericordia bullring. Let us remember that the specifications to access the arena established a minimum rent of 180,000 euros per year for the next four seasons.

The second offer was that of Circuitos Taurinos, a company led by the son of Carlos Zunigawith 423,000 euros, VAT included.

The following offers were: Nautalia, with 371,000 euros; Montaurus, 302,000; Tauroemoción-Carmelo García, 260,755, and Chopera, Bailleres and FIT, 260,150, all VAT amounts included. The 2020 Feria Toro offer, managed by José Montes, was rejected.
