Tram Derails Near Botanical Gardens, Causes Power Outage in Gothenburg
Early this morning, at 05:00, a tram carriage derailed near the Botanical Gardens in Gothenburg, causing a power outage between Sahlgrenska, Linné, and Marklandsgatan. The outage is expected to be fixed within approximately two hours, according to Patrik Chi, press communicator at Västtrafik.
In response to the incident, Västtrafik has deployed shuttle buses to run along the affected routes in place of the trams.
The affected tram lines are 1, 2, 6, and 7, and passengers are advised to seek alternative transportation or utilize the shuttle buses provided by Västtrafik.
