Casa Pia wins in coach debut

Casa Pia won 1-0 against Arouca, returning to victories in the I Football League in coach Gonçalo Santos’ debut, in a match on the 22nd round, played in Rio Maior.

Clayton, in the 74th minute, scored the only goal of the match and ensured Casa Pia’s triumph, after five games without winning, putting an end to Arouca’s streak of four consecutive victories.

With this triumph, Casa Pia, now coached by Gonçalo Santos, who succeeded Pedro Moreira and Filipe Martins, provisionally rose to 11th place, with 23 points, five behind Arouca, who occupies seventh place, within reach of Famalicão and Farense, both with 26 and one game less.
