Casablanca/New Year: Mobilization of all human, material and logistical resources to ensure the safety of citizens (Prefect)
Casablanca – The Casablanca police prefecture has taken, on the occasion of the New Year, a special security measure and mobilized all human, material and logistical resources to ensure the security and safety of citizens, said, Saturday, the police prefect of the economic capital, Abdellah El Ouardi.
In a statement to the press, he stressed that the police headquarters has mobilized all the security elements, in addition to modern material and logistical means never deployed to guarantee the security of citizens, noting that the main objective of the presence of the security elements is to interact with the calls of citizens through the command and coordination posts, which were created this year.
In this regard, Mr. El Ouardi stressed the importance of efficient and firm intervention within the framework of respect for the law, specifying that the security measures taken on the occasion of the New Year come in application of the directives of the Director General of National Security aimed at ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
The General Directorate of National Security is still working, on this occasion, to set up a special security system, he continued, noting that the police headquarters has reinforced, on the occasion of the New Year, the number of security elements to reach 6 thousand, in addition to the deployment of 50 large cylinder motorcycles and numerous vehicles and the establishment of judicial and administrative roadblocks.
For his part, the Comptroller General, El Habib Al Kharaf, Deputy Prefect, stressed that on the occasion of the New Year, the Casablanca police prefecture, like the prefectures across the Kingdom, has taken a series of preventive measures in terms of human and logistical resources that will be deployed on the ground to ensure the safety and security of citizens and protect their property.
