This caravan, which will successively go to the holiday camps of Bouznika – Benslimane, El Alia in Mohammedia, then Tamaris in Casablanca, on August 23, 24 and 25, targets children aged 7 to 14, indicated a press release from the Agency.
The caravan, organized under the slogan “Think… How to manage water to save its use”, aims to promote responsible ecological behavior among young people in order to encourage water saving and put an end to all forms of waste of this vital resource.
This awareness caravan includes seven digital workshops, educational competitions as well as artistic workshops such as drawing and the creation of digital content to save water, in addition to the presentation of capsules on water.
To make this initiative a success, the Agency provides awareness and information capsules on the water resources of the Bouregreg and Chaouia basins, robots, virtual reality glasses and phones, drawing and painting tools, cameras and computers to create content, as well as panels and publications on the subject, in addition to qualified trainers.
In addition to these workshops, the Agency, in partnership with the General Directorate of Civil Protection, will organize two awareness workshops on the risks of drowning in reservoirs and rivers, presenting a capsule to highlight the dangers of swimming in these places, as well as a workshop on first aid that can be given to a drowning person rescued from the water.
This caravan follows the water sections caravan organized by the ABHBC in schools during the 2023-2024 school year, in partnership with the regional education and training academies.
