/ The coach of the Iraqi national team, Jesus Casas, revealed the lineup of the Iraqi national team in its match against its Vietnamese counterpart in the third and final round of Group D matches for the 2023 Asian Cup, which is currently taking place in the State of Qatar and which starts at exactly 2:30 pm today, Wednesday, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club in the capital, Doha.
The lineup consisted of: Ahmed Basil, Rebin Sulaqa, Zaid Tahseen, Mirkhas Doski, Alan Mohiuddin, Osama Rashid, Ahmed Ali, Zidane Iqbal, Bashar Rasan, Muntadher Majed, and Ali Al Hammadi.
The reserve consisted of: Jalal Hassan, Fahd Talib, Hussein Ali, Frans Diaa, Ali Adnan, Youssef Amin, Ibrahim Bayesh, Muhannad Ali, Akam Hashem, Ali Jassim, Ayman Hussein, and Ahmed Yahya.
Iraq leads Group 4 after the end of the second round of the 2023 Asian Championship with 6 points, followed by the Japanese national team with 3 points, then Indonesia with 3 points as well, but it lags behind Japan on goal difference, and the Vietnamese national team comes in fourth place with no points.
