/ Iraqi football affairs expert Ali Al-Naimi revealed on Tuesday that a football analyst has joined the technical staff of the Iraqi football team.
Al-Naimi told Agency: “Yesterday, Monday, quantitative analyst Cornell arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, to officially join the coaching staff of our national team, upon the recommendation of coach Jesus Casas.”
He added, “The 30-year-old Cornell will begin his work in the match between our national team and Vietnam, and he has officially received the championship trophy.”
He continued, “The analyst will be responsible for interpreting the real-time data and numbers provided by Opta International during the Asian Championship matches and presenting them in the form of technical consultations to his colleague, performance analyst Pablo Grandes, and then transferring them to assistant coach Alejandro Varela.”
