Police have registered a case against three persons who sold tobacco products in shops in Kallakurichi-Chinnasalem and Kachirayapalayam area.
Chinnasalem sub-inspector Manikandan and the police raided shops in Chinnasalem and Kachirayapalayam areas yesterday in connection with the sale of tobacco products including Hans.
Gopal son Manikandan, 31, of Little Salem, who sold tobacco products in a box shop; A case has been registered and they are investigating.
Similarly, Sub Inspector Yehumalai and the police conducted a search at Kachirayapalayam bus station.
Selvanathan, 43, of Arunthathiyar Street, who sold tobacco products in box stores; Madhavachery Periasamy’s wife Ambika, 35; A case has been registered against them and they are investigating.
