Srivilliputhur-Virudunagar District V. Budhupatti, Vathirayiru police have registered a case against DMK Municipal Council President Subbulakshmi and her husband DMK Councilor Shantharam for caste-specific insults against Mastur female employee Muthulakshmi.

Muthulakshmi, who worked as a laborer in V. Puthupatti municipality, has now been dismissed.

Muthulakshmi went to Subbulakshmi’s home on February 3 and asked him why he was fired.

During the dispute, Subbulakshmi and Shantharam insulted caste, and filed a complaint with the police. A case was registered against them.
