A woman has filed a case against popular Malayalam film actor Nivin Pauly for sexual harassment. The case was filed in Ernakulam, Kerala. The complainant is a resident of Neriamangalam in Ernakulam district. Apart from ‘Premam’ famous actor Nivin, five more people have been accused in this case. India Today has published this news.
Citing a police source, the media reported that six people have been charged in this case. Among which Shreya is the first accused. Then there are respectively – producer A. K. Sunil, Binu, Bashir, Kutan and Nivin Pauly. In other words, Nivin Pauly is in the sixth place.

At first Shreya offered the complainant a job in Europe. But as there was no job, the complainant asked Shreya to return the money. Shreya then offered the complainant a role in a movie. The complainant stated that she was drugged and sexually assaulted. Multiple incidents occurred with the six accused. These incidents took place in Dubai in November last year.
The victim first complained to the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Later SIT Onukal called the police. Following that, the case was registered.
The Hema Committee report was published on August 19. The Hema Committee has revealed the facts of sexual harassment, casting couch, pay discrimination, exploitation in the Malayalam film industry. It has received allegations of sexual harassment against senior actors and producers. Since then the Malayalam film industry has been under fire.

Nivin made his big screen debut in 2010. Then acted in 43 movies. Out of this, 42 movies have been released by this 39-year-old actor. In 2015, Nivin got a great response by pairing up with Sai Pallavi in the movie ‘Premam’. Notable movies he acted in are – ‘Neram’, ‘1983’, ‘Traffic’, ‘Premam’, ‘Bangalore Days’ etc.
