Munnar ∙ The forest department has filed a case against the owner of the vehicle in the case of a wild boar standing near the road in the tea plantation, ‘Patayappa’. A case was registered under the Wildlife Protection Act against Chutale (42) alias Das, a contractor in the factory division of Kannandevan Company’s Cuddalar estate. The case was registered by Range Officer Arun Maharaja on the instructions of Munnar DFO Ramesh Vishnoi. The forest department informed that he is absconding.

The incident happened yesterday. The case is that Padayappa, who was standing on the upper side of the main road to Kadlar, was provoked by Das’s vehicle when he reached the vehicle. A mildly aggressive video of Padayappa went viral after provoking him for a long time by honking his horn and driving his vehicle.
