Dileep will be questioned again tomorrow as part of the ongoing investigation into the case of attacking the actress. The interrogation is based on the evidence gathered on the basis of Balachandra Kumar’s statement. The main objective is to find out whether Dileep is in possession of the footage of the attack on the actress.
This is the first time that Dileep has been questioned by a special team as part of the ongoing probe into the attack on the actress. The investigation team had recorded the confidential statement of the director Balachandra Kumar’s allegations that Dileep was in possession of the footage of the attack on the actress. Although Dileep had approached the high court against the probe, the court directed that the probe be continued. The SIT claims that the current probe has uncovered more information about Dileep’s role in the conspiracy to destroy the actress and the destruction of evidence. The forensic report of Dileep’s phones will also be crucial in the interrogation.
The investigation team will also seek information from Dileep on the allegation that the footage of the attack on the actress was leaked from the court. According to Balachandra Kumar, Dileep saw the scenes at home. Currently, the High Court has directed that the probe be completed before April 15. He had earlier been questioned for three days without being taken into custody in a case of conspiracy to kill investigating officers.
