Kochi: The phones of actor Dileep and his co-accused have been filed in the high court in a case of conspiracy to endanger the investigating officers in the incident where the actress was attacked.
The accused in the murder case, including Dileep, brought six phones to the court. Three phones of Dileep, two phones of his brother Anoop and one phone of his sister’s husband Sooraj were handed over to the registrar in a sealed envelope.
Dileep’s lawyer Philip T Varghese handed over the phones to Registrar General P Krishnakumar. All the six phones that reached the High Court at 10 am were delivered to the Registrar General’s office at 10 am. Meanwhile, the single bench of the high court will consider Dileep’s anticipatory bail application and the crime branch’s request to hand over the phones to the probe team at 1 pm.
The probe team found that Dileep, his brother Anoop and his sister’s husband Suraj had conspired together to endanger the investigating officers. The prosecution had informed the high court yesterday that a conspiracy had taken place in a flat on Ernakulam MG Road.
