The lawyer Eleazar Medina denied that the 33 detainees at the private Avalon Man Club, located in Valencia, Carabobo state, are free, as assured by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saad, on July 31.

The legal professional is the defender of 3 of the 33 arrested on July 21. His defendants, like 27 other citizens, received a precautionary measure substituting freedom and were placed under presentation; unlike the owner of the establishment and two masseurs.

“These three people they continue to be imprisoned as a shelter in the Bolivian National Police (PNB) of Los Guayos. They were asked for guarantors and his lawyer entered a swearing bond. The court is expected to admit it so that they can be released, that is, everything is in the hands of the court,” the lawyer explained to the whistlethis August 1.

What charges are charged to the 33 detainees in Valencia?

When asked about the possibility of a dismissal, as pointed out by the highest representative of the Public Ministry (MP), the lawyer explained that for this measure to materialize, no evidence must be found in the investigative stage.

“And that is what will happen, since there is nothing that blames these 33 people as active subjects of the crimes that the Public Ministry accused them of: such as indecent indecent, conspiracy and sonic pollution. The latter only for spa workers. Until now, no element of criminal interest has been found in the technical inspections carried out by the officials, “explained the professional.

Medina reported that on July 31 they handed over the phones to the 30 detainees who were released. The mobiles remained in the hands of the authorities.

protests continue
