A case has been registered under the Atrocities Act against 5 people in the incident of assaulting an auto driver near Valangaiman on Tuesday.
Sondhav Cheran (24) passed out near Valangaiman. He is driving an auto owned by the deceased. In this case, on June 28, the owner parked the auto at home and was going home with his brother Dhinakaran and friend Silambarasan. It is said that Sonda Karan, Gautham, Prem, Senthil and Sonda Manikandan of Veeranam, who led them astray and attacked them with Takadavathi.
According to Cheran’s complaint at Valangaiman police station, Valangaiman police registered a case against Karan and 5 others under the Atrocities Act on Tuesday and conducted an investigation.
