In view of this, Bangladesh Bank has imposed the maximum limit of cash withdrawal from the bank on August 8 for the sake of security of money including stopping money laundering. On that day the customer of the bank could not withdraw more than one lakh cash from one account. Later, this withdrawal limit was increased to two lakhs from last August 11. After that, the withdrawal limit was further increased to three lakhs.
