Cashback Credit Card: There is a great news for the credit card users. SBI Card has launched a new ‘Cashback SBI Card’. This card now offers up to 5% cashback. What’s special is that cardholders can avail up to 5% cashback on all online spends without any merchant restrictions. There are still cards in the market that offer up to 5 percent cashback. But they have some restrictions. For example, you get 5% cashback only when you transact with a particular merchant. SBI Card offers cashback on online and offline purchases. This card alone offers more cashback. You can get cashback up to 6 thousand rupees in a year.
How to apply?
Customers across India, including Tier-II and Tier-III cities, can apply for ‘Cashback’ credit cards from home through the digital application platform ‘SBI Card Sprint’. SBI has also issued a new notification in this regard. You don’t need to roam around to apply on Applan. You can apply online.
How much is the card fee?
SBI offers free card fees till March 2023 under special offer. After this, the card renewal fee for one year is Rs 999. However, if you spend Rs 2 lakh with this card in a year, you will not have to pay the renewal fee for this card.
How much is the cashback?
As per SBI notification, the contactless card will be free in the first year till March 2023 as a special offer. Spend Rs.100 online with ‘Cashback SBI Card’ and get 1% cashback. Get up to 5% cashback on online purchases up to Rs.10,000 per month. That means if you make a transaction of 10 thousand rupees in a month through this card, you will get a cashback of 6000 rupees in a year. This card offers you auto credit facility. Once you activate it, you will get the cashback in your SBI card account within a couple of days.
