The Association of Officials of Casmu stopped this Thursday the 1st in the framework of the conflict that it maintains with the company due to the wave of layoffs, shipments to unemployment insurance and outsourcing. “The institution does not ensure their reinstatement and we want them all to be reinstated, to return to their jobs,” claimed the leader Sonia González in the Informative Menu.
González explained that the conflict in Casmu is “due to arbitrary dismissals, outsourcing, sending workers to unemployment insurance, a whole internal situation that exists in the institution that has us very concerned, and that makes us face it because they do not propose any strategic plan ”.
“It seems that all the management is focused on reducing the workforce; more than 60 have been arbitrarily dismissed, and 149 workers have been sent to unemployment insurance to date, ”he warned.
In a sphere of negotiation with the government, the union wants to know “what is the institutional situation, analyze the situation of the colleagues on unemployment insurance, the institution does not guarantee their reinstatement and we want all of them to be reinstated, to return to their jobs ”.
