The singer and mother of a 7-year-old child, Cat Janice, has passed away at the age of 31. Her family’s announcement.

The young American singer and mother of a 7-year-old boy he was suffering from a rare form of cancer. Diagnosed with sarcoma in 2022, he underwent surgery and chemotherapy which initially appeared to have good results, but the cancer returned with metastases.
The unpleasant news of her death her family announced via post on Cat Janice’s Instagram account.
“This morning, from her home and surrounded by her loving family, Catherine passed peacefully into the light and love of her heavenly creator. We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of love that Catherine and our family have received over the past few months. Cat has seen her music go places she never expected. She will continue to provide for her son through her music. This would not be possible without all of you” they wrote in the post.
The family also informed that her Instagram page will be managed by her brother, who will also oversee all aspects of her music. In its statement, the family said that “as per Cat’s wish, there is also some other art she wants to share with her audience. Everything will be done on time.”
Last month, Cat Janice announced that she only had a few weeks or months left. She released the song “Dance You Outta My Head” in an effort to raise money to make her her inheritance for her 7-year-old son.

“People often point to a singer, an athlete, a businessman, etc. and they say “This is my idol”, but to me she was always my big sister. I am blessed to have my idol as my mentor throughout my life. Catherine was my piano teacher, my studio partner, my source of wisdom and my highest inspiration. All my best ideas had her special touch (…) It is painful to face the next chapter of life without her“.
