Synopsis
Sebastian and Mia live in Los Angeles, the city of dreams. Sebastian is a pianist, a jazz lover with a big goal: to open his own jazz bar. Mia works in a café but aspires to become a great actress. Their first meeting happens on a freeway during rush hour where they argue. Shortly after, Mia randomly goes to the venue where Sebastian is playing music, but he ignores her as he leaves angrily after a fight with his boss. Months later, Mia and Sebastian meet at a party and despite initially stating that nothing will ever happen between them, they become a couple. Throughout their relationship, both try to make their dreams come true, despite the hardships, and to stay together, which proves to be exceptionally difficult…
The film stars Emma Stone, who won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance, and Ryan Gosling, who was nominated for the same award in the corresponding category.
