Like her, many bosses are desperate to fill holes in their workforce. A national and persistent problem, as proven by the new job vacancy figures published this Friday by the Ministry of Labor (Dares). Despite a slight drop of 0.2 points in the third quarter, there are still more than 350,000 unfilled positions across the country, or 2.2% of total employment. A historically high level if we compare to the 215,000 vacant positions in France in 2019 on the eve of the first confinement. Worse, these figures only show the tip of the iceberg, since Dares does not take into account vacant positions in companies with fewer than 10 employees, in the agricultural sector, in temporary work or even in the civil service which , they also lack arms.
