Bandundu, 25 April 2023 (ACP) – The Catholic Christians of the parish of St Hippolyte in Bandundu in Kwilu in the DRC, were trained on Tuesday in the parish hall of this church on the means of preventing sexual abuse and exploitation by Me. Dieudonné Moke Musoy.
Me Moke, said that ” this activity was organized with the aim of strengthening participants’ knowledge on the issue of prevention against sexual abuse and exploitation, whether they are victims or perpetrators », relevant that « participants in these meetings who have acquired indications and possible solutions will be able to prevent sexual exploitation in their respective living environments ».
He also awakened the conscience of these faithful Catholics on the knowledge of their rights, in order to denounce any abuse of this practice which has become commonplace in this part of the republic, before inviting them to meditate on the word of God so as not to fall into the enemy’s trap.
