Jabarullah, 70, a resident of Sathyamangalam, Erode district, was admitted to the shelter at Kundalapuliyur, next to Villupuram on December 4, 2021.
From here, he was kept at the ‘Home of Hope’ shelter in Bengaluru area, but it seems that he went missing on March 4, 2022.
Mother-son magic
Sivasankaran’s wife Lakshmi, 80, (visually impaired) and his son Muthuvinayagam, 48, who lived in Sankarankovil, Tirunelveli district, Tenkasi, were kept in the same shelter. It seems that both of them have been missing since August 12, 2021.
In this regard, CPCID, police have registered a case and investigation is going on.

Investigation in Bengaluru
A team of 7 policemen from CPCID went to Bengaluru from Villupuram yesterday. There, they conducted an investigation in an archive belonging to Jubinbaby’s friend Auto Raja in Thottakuppi.
At that time, they inquired about how many people were brought from the Kundalapuliyur shelter and how 11 escaped.
They have also investigated whether a complaint has been filed with the local police.
They have seized some documents and are investigating.
Hearing on Custody Petition
CBCID, the police had petitioned yesterday for permission to interrogate the 8 people arrested in connection with the archive issue.
The hearing on this petition is being taken up for hearing in the Principal Criminal Court today.
