Virudhunagar: The CBCID police have for the second day investigated four persons involved in a case of sexual assault of a woman near Virudhunagar. The maid involved in the case was taken to his home and searched by police on Wednesday.
Hariharan, Sunaid Ahmed, Madasamy, Praveen and 4 boys were arrested in a case of sexual abuse of a woman near Virudhunagar. The case is being investigated by the CPCIT Superintendent of Police led by the Chief Minister.
The Srivilliputhur court on Tuesday allowed four people, including Hariharan, to be remanded in police custody for seven days.
