CBF releases Brazilian Women’s basic table

The main women’s team of São Paulo met this Thursday afternoon (02) the basic table of the Women’s Brasileirão. With a date scheduled to start on February 24, Tricolor will debut against Bahia, at home. The dates, times and locations will still be announced by the CBF.

As in the last editions, the competition will have 16 participants and the first phase will be held in the format of consecutive points. At the end of the 15 scheduled rounds, the eight best teams advance to the quarterfinals, which will be played in home and away matches in a knockout format.

In 2023, the championship will have a break due to the hosting of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023. Thus, after the quarterfinal stage, the teams return to play in the semifinals on August 26th. The Brazilian Women’s finals will be on September 10th and 17th.
