CMammootty starrer CBI Part 5 (CBI 5) is a much awaited movie. The adaptations of the film, which is being prepared by SN Swamy-K Madhu-Mammootty duo, are getting a lot of attention from the audience. Now, actor Soubin Shahir has joined the cast. K Madhu shared this with Saub.
“Saubin Shahir is in the CBI team … I am happy to welcome my favorite actor / director to my set …” K Madhu wrote on Facebook. Later, many people came to the scene with comments. Bhoo Ribhagam also asks if Saubin will be a villain in the film.
Kaniha also joined the cast last week. ‘I am happy to be working with legendary screenwriter SN Swamy and K Madhu. Was able to be part of the CBI team. I am looking forward to acting with my favorite actor once again ‘, Kaniha said. Mammootty arrived on the set on December 11 last year. Kovid was later diagnosed with the disease.

The iconic theme music for the film is composed by Jacques Bijoy. Music director Shyam composed the background music for the other four films in the CBI series.

In 1988, Mmootty-K Madhu-SN Swamy team released a CBI diary, the first film in the CBI series. Later films like Jagratha, Sethuramayya CBI and Nerariyan CBI were also released. Mammootty’s heroine is Asha Sarath. The locations are Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad and Delhi. The film will star Mukesh, Ranji Panicker, Saubin Shahir and Sai Kumar.
Saubin has also acted in Mammootty’s Bhishma Parvam. Amal Neerad’s movie will be released on the 3rd of next month. The films released include Thief D’Souza and Meow. Meow is the first collaboration between Saub and Mamta Mohandas. The script of the film is written by Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram. Along with Salim Kumar and Harishree Yusuf, the other characters in the film are two children and a cat. The film tells the story of Dastagir, a grocer from Aluva, his wife and three children. The film is directed by lal jose. This is Iqbal Kuttipuram’s fourth script for Lal Jose.
