The average wage per employee post at current prices in September 2021 was NIS 11,667, an increase of 2.9% compared to September 2020 (NIS 11,337).
The average wage per employee post at constant prices was NIS 10,821, an increase of 0.4% compared to September 2020 (NIS 10,777).
The number of employee jobs was 622 million, an increase of 6.8% compared to September 2020 (3.390 million).
Data on wage and employment indices are based on monthly reports by employers to the National Insurance Institute. These reports do not include employees who receive unemployment benefits from the National Insurance Institute. The calculation of the average wage per employee post does not refer to the number of days in the month in which the employee was employed.
