The night of the PCP-PEV coalition was not a happy one. In the room of the Sana Metropolitan hotel, in Lisbon, several party supporters (mostly young) were gathered, but the atmosphere was heavy and silent. The CDU elected four deputies (it had elected six in 2022) and for the first time it was not elected in Beja. Paulo Raimundo acknowledged that it was not a positive result, but assured that the coalition led by him will fulfill what it promised: fight for wages and rights, access to health and housing and better working conditions.
