The Portuguese actress and director Graça Lobo died on the morning of this Monday, at the age of 85, at the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Torres Vedras, confirmed PÚBLICO with the institution. The also playwright and director, an unusually free, transgressive, and irreverent presence in the Portuguese social landscape of the 70s and 80s, passed away from “natural causes.” She had been at the institution since 2019.
