Bangladeshi electronics giant Walton celebrated International Women’s Day with the slogan ‘Amra Pari, Amra Rangabo Gami’.
Women’s Day was celebrated with various programs throughout the day at Walton Headquarters in Chandra, Gazipur and Walton Corporate Office in the capital. The program included felicitation of women members, health camp, rally, cake cutting, discussion meeting and cultural program.
International Women’s Day was celebrated at Walton Corporate and Headquarters on Saturday (March 9) as Friday was a holiday. Director Zakia Sultana and Nishat Tasnim Shuchi, Additional Managing Director Nazrul Islam Sarkar of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc cut a cake to congratulate the women members working in the corporate office.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, health care is provided at the health camp set up at the headquarters
Besides, on the occasion of Women’s Day, a health camp was set up at Walton Head Quarters to protect women’s health. Female doctors provide health care there.
Later in the afternoon, a women’s day celebration rally was taken out from the main gate of the headquarters. The rally ended at the helipad after circling the various locations of the head quarters. There is cake cutting.
