Celebration of the day dedicated to the Imbonerakure youth

A long parade of young Imbonerakure and Bagumyabanga children called Ibiswivyinkona from all the provinces of Burundi embellished the celebration of the day dedicated to Imbonerakure youth called “Imbonerakure day”.

The Head of the youth department within the CNDD-FDD party Eric Nshimirimana indicated that this day is a good opportunity for dialogue and exchange of experiences, that the parade that was made is a symbol that speaks, a sign of unity and of social cohesion which also shows that they have the same vision, that of sustainable development.

Eric Nshimirimana thanked the leaders of the CNDD-FDD Party for all the capacity building training provided to the young Imbonerakure from where they called on them to work diligently and to continue to come together in cooperatives to achieve the government’s vision: Burundi emerging country in 2040 and developed country in 2060.
He informed that they have a project to form a model cooperative at the level of each zone.

The foreign delegations who came to celebrate this day warmly thanked the CNDD-FDD party for the invitation and called on all Africans to walk in the same direction in development and to always favor dialogue in the resolution of conflicts.

The Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD party Révérien Ndikuriyo called on the young Imbonerakure to pool their forces, a source of wealth, and always remain vigilant and attentive so that the CNDD-FDD party remains solid.

Révérien Ndikuriyo urged the young Imbonerakure to always remain united, to always be competitive in the world, to never forget the party’s slogan and to always consolidate peace and security.

In the speech for the occasion, the President of the Republic said that this day is a day of joy, which comes when Burundians are able to do their own planning.
He indicated that this is the opportune time to walk the same line in development on the African continent.

President Evariste Ndayishimiye was delighted with the step taken in the development of Burundi. He called on everyone to contribute and put together the knowledge acquired for the transformation of our products and exploit the potentialities of which the country abounds.

“May this day be an opportunity for conversion, change of behavior especially for leaders who have not yet understood that we are in the fight, that of having an emerging Burundi in 2040 and a developed country in 2060, specified the Chief of the State Evariste Ndayishimiye.
