From the VIP area to the hospital – that became a reality for six celebrities on Monday evening. You had registered for a nursing internship at the Berlin Helios Clinic in Buch and were not spared.
Actress Jenny Elvers (49), pop singer Patrick Lindner (61), actor Wayne Carpendale (44), “Let’s Dance” judge Jorge González (54) and comedian Faisal Kawusi (29) made the start, Boris ex Lily Becker (45 ) will join two weeks later.
Before the celebrities were let loose on the patients, there was a two-day crash course with a subsequent exam. Jenny remarked: “I can imagine that there will be moments that will push us all to our limits.” But there were already during the training …

Patrick Lindner was already working up a sweat: “Of course you just stand there and think: Phew, do something like that with a stranger …” Wayne Carpendale also had his thoughts: “I know one thing: What makes me uncomfortable – the other person is definitely more uncomfortable … “

In the end, however, all of them passed the test. They were assigned to different departments. Faisal ended up in geriatrics and took his job very seriously. A stumbling patient was caught without further ado: “I will not allow my patients to fall!”
Jenny Elvers started her nursing internship in the maternity ward. An environment that reminded her of her own past and therefore brought tears to her eyes. She thought of her son Paul (20): “My son had something on his neck that didn’t belong there. He was just three years old then. That had to be removed. It was a risky operation. It could have been that he couldn’t speak afterwards. And when he wakes up and then says ‘Mama’ again … I could cry again! “
The nursing celebrities became all the more aware of the services the nursing staff performed every day. Above all, nurse Nadja (43), who looks after trainee Jorge González in paediatrics, received the greatest respect. Even though she suffers from multiple sclerosis, she is still in the hospital every day. Jorge was flabbergasted: “I didn’t notice it. I really have a lot of respect for that! “
