During a theater engagement, Maike Bollow (59) bought a colorful painting from celebrity painter Bernhard Prinz (47) for her shop “Feu Dich” in the old town. Now the artist came from Munich especially for the handover and also caricatured the “Red Roses” star with a pencil.
Maike is as proud of this picture as Bollow.
“I hang this drawing framed on my wall at home. It’s wonderful,” says the actress. She sat the painter for around 20 minutes for a portrait, the pencil drawing is one of his longest exercises. “This is my beginning. I started earning money as a street artist when I was 17,” says Prinz.
Today he creates large acrylic portraits for celebrities such as Thomas Gottschalk (72), Peter Maffay (73), Heidi Klum (49) and Robbie Williams (48). Costs 3000 to 50 000 euros.
