On Saturday evening, Else Kåss Furuseth (43) is scheduled to get married in front of a packed Oslo Spektrum.
She announced the wedding herself Instagram in November, but then she was missing one essential thing. The groom was not available, so in recent months the popular 43-year-old has been looking for someone to share her life with.
She has now found that – and Furuseth was recently able to reveal that she is in love.
But she has no guarantee that the chosen one will appear.
One of the suitors is Tor Kramprud, also known as the chef Tor from Øyer.

– Kind, considerate and funny
When the bride was a guest on “Nyhetsmorgen” on NRK on Friday, she did not hide that she is excited about how the evening will unfold. Because even if everything is ready, certain things can still go wrong.
– I’m in love, yes. I am. But now it’s a bit exciting if the groom shows up. Because it is not a hostage situation here, it is voluntary, stated Furuseth.
Who the presenter’s chosen one is remains a secret until the wedding, but Furuseth was still able to reveal some details about him when she guested on the morning broadcast on NRK1.
– He is a bit like Baloo in “The Jungle Book”, who takes things as they come. A mixture of very kind, caring and funny, she said, without wanting to reveal whether they have become lovers.
Will inspire
Regardless of whether she gets married or not, Furuseth is very much looking forward to the “love festival” in Spektrum.
In “Nyhetsmorgen”, she said that she has completed a successful project anyway.
– There is something about daring and saying openly what you dream about, and making yourself a little vulnerable. I hope it has been somewhat inspiring. For me it has been good, said the presenter.
Showing that it’s okay to be vulnerable was also one of her motivations when she started her project.
– I want to make showing yourself vulnerable harmless. I think many people can relate to the fact that life has not turned out exactly as you had imagined, she has previously explained to Nettavisen.
Good mood
At the beginning of March, the TV viewers were able to participate when Else invited one of the suitors in question to her home for dinner. It was Tor Jørgen Kramprud Arnesen who is from, lives and works in Øyer. Many also know him as a celebrity chef from The Flying Culinary Circus who has traveled the world to show and cook for international celebrities.
Chef Tor was contacted by a mutual acquaintance of Tor and Else, a television producer who has previously worked with them both.
– You must meet Else!
– I said yes. I had never met Else before, but I like her. And I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try, Tor told GD at the time.
There was a good atmosphere between Tor and Else. Whether they are the chosen couple is not yet known.
– You’ll have to wait and see, says Tor to GD on Saturday afternoon.
