New Delhi: The population control law is being discussed again in the country. Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel has said that legislation on the issue will be taken up soon. The Minister said that steps are being taken in this regard and legislation will not be delayed. Earlier, the Union Health Minister had said that the law would not be introduced. The present statement contradicts this.
Prahlad Singh Patel is the Union Minister for Food Processing Industries. He was speaking at the Garib Kalyan Conference in Raipur. He also slammed the ruling Congress government in the state. He said the Center would not hesitate to take strong decisions and such decisions would be taken at the right time.
