The Guatemala Surf Team will have 19 surfers to show their talent in the different categories, where they will seek to stay with the medals as the best in the area. El Paredón will host the 2024 Central American Surfing Championship
He surfing centroamericano is preparing to celebrate the 2024 edition of its most important event in the region. This exciting competition will take place in the El Paredon beach, in EscuintlaGuatemala, from Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29, 2024. During these three days, the best surfers in the area will meet to demonstrate their skills in the eggs of one of the most emblematic beaches in the country.
The tournament will feature the participation of outstanding athletes from El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Guatemalawho will compete in the categories of shortboard, bodyboard, longboard and SUP (stand-up paddleboard). These categories will offer a platform for both experienced and beginner surfers to show off their skills, in what promises to be an event full of action, adrenaline and camaraderie.
This championship will also serve as preparation for the Central American Games of the Olympic Cycle from 2025 to 2028which will take place in 2025. Although the venue for these games has not yet been defined, the tournament in The Wall will provide a valuable opportunity for competitors to hone their skills ahead of this important regional event.
